Creation of Dissertation Abstract References of Innovation Diffusion

Rogers, Everett M. 1995. Diffusion of Innovation. 4th ed. New York: The Free Press.

In the references of this book Prof. Rogers lists nearly 3900 diffusion publication. He omits listing Ph.D. dissertations. Our estimate is that there are at least 400 dissertations in the Social Sciences dealing with this subjet since 1950. Many of these theses are excellent. Many of these authors never again contributed to the professional literature; one shot wonders. That does not however discount their intellectual contribution to Innovation Diffusion.
